Joseph Baldacchino is President Emeritus and co-founder of the National Humanities Institute. He is Editor of the academic journal Humanitas and was for 24 years Associate Editor of the national conservative weekly Human Events. The author of Economics and the Moral Order and, with others, Irving Babbitt in Our Time, as well as editor of Educating for Virtue, Baldacchino serves on the advisory board of the College of Liberal Arts at Mount St. Mary's University. He is a member and former Vice President of the Academy of Philosophy and Letters, of which he is a co-founder, and a member and former Trustee of the Philadelphia Society. Baldacchino was the recipient of the Ronald Reagan Award at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in 2013.
